Donate Funds

Conservancy Farm by Rich LawtonCharitable gifts to the Southeast Michigan Land Conservancy are critical to furthering our mission of protecting land in southeast Michigan. Tax-deductable donations are used to fund new land protection projects, to support the care and maintenance of our nature preserves, to educate the community about the importance of land conservation, and to help build our Endowment Fund, so we can all rest assured that the land we save will be protected forever. If you would like to make a gift to SMLC, consider the following giving options.

Donate Land

(from www.lta.org/conserve)

Donating land for conservation purposes is truly one of the finest legacies a person can leave to future generations. It may be the best conservation strategy for you if you do not wish to pass the land on to heirs; own property you no longer use; own highly appreciated property; have substantial real estate holdings and wish to reduce estate tax burdens; or would like to be relieved of the responsibility of managing and caring for land.
