The Sunrise Serenade began at 4:30 in the morning!

Pitching a tent made it easier to get up that early to listen to the birds.

We gathered the night before around the campfire for an enjoyable evening of socializing.

The temperature dropped down into the 50's that night, hence the large fire.

The kids enjoyed holding a Brown snake that was found in the woodpile.

It was still very dark at 4:30 am, but we enjoyed listening to Greg idenify the different bird species by just their songs.

Here Greg is recapping our results of bird count that morning while we wait for breakfast.

Pancakes, eggs, potatoes, sausage and lots of fruit!

Jack and Rochelle having way to much fun preparing the breakfast.

Jack was in charge of the scrambled eggs while Rochelle giggled over his technique.

The pancakes were golden brown and yummy!

Breakfast always taste better in the great outdoors.

The landscape was beautiful and the company was stellar.

Here we are reflecting on the lovely mornings events.
